1. What You Are Purchasing

CURÂT (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”) operates the website at thecuratapp.comand provides a psychometric design assessment service (“the Service”). When you complete the assessment and pay the stated price (currently $49 USDduring the beta period), you receive a 17-page Identity Dossier delivered by email (“the Dossier”).

The purchase is a one-time transaction. There is no ongoing subscription unless you separately purchase a Premium plan. Your Dossier is delivered digitally and is non-transferable.

2. Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Dossier purchases. If you are not satisfied with your Dossier for any reason, contact us at hello@thecuratapp.com within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

3. The Nature of the Results

The Identity Dossier and the psychometric assessment that produces it are provided for design guidance and personal insight purposes only. They do not constitute professional interior design advice, architectural advice, psychological assessment, or any other licensed professional service.

We make no warranty that the Dossier will perfectly describe your aesthetic preferences, that you will agree with every characterisation, or that the recommendations will apply to every design context. Results reflect the data produced by our Bayesian scoring engine applied to your image-pair responses.

4. User Conduct

By using the Service, you agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer the assessment algorithm or scoring engine; (c) submit false or misleading information; (d) use automated tools to interact with the quiz; or (e) resell or redistribute the Dossier for commercial purposes without our written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

The assessment, scoring engine, image bank, archetype system, and all Dossier content (including the manifesto written for your profile) are the intellectual property of CURÂT LLC. You may use your Dossier for personal purposes — including sharing it with an interior designer — but may not reproduce, publish, or sell its contents without permission.

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service, available at stripe.com/legal.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CURÂT LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
